Golf:
The thrill to chill returns to Michigan slopes. Skiers and snowboarders will be doing more than just chilling this winter at Michigan’s ski areas. There is something for all levels of experience and extremes on Michigan’s slopes. From the Magic Carpet beginner lift to radical exhilarating terrain parks and "hold onto your hat" tubing runs, equipped with lifts. Michigan’s slopes have pulled out the stops to cater to all skiers. When you go with snow, it’s Pure Michigan.
There's nothing like staring down a pristine fairway. Or feeling like you're all alone while surrounded by century old trees and majestic Great Lakes. Some of the greatest golf course designers of our time, like Jerry Matthews, Tom Doak, Gary Player, Tom Weiskopf, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, have fallen under the spell of Michigan's fields, forests, inland lakes and streams. Named by Golf Digest as "the 12th best golf destination in the world", Michigan is America's summer golf capital.
